This Privacy Policy explains how Site North (“Site North,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit sitenorth.net, contact us, request a quote, or work with us. Site North is a digital marketing agency based on the East Coast of the United States and run by its founders, Chase Adams and Sawyer Moriarty.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, business name, the service you are interested in, how and when you would like us to contact you, and your message. If you become a client, we also collect the information needed to provide our services, such as billing contact details and the content and account access you choose to share with us.

Information collected automatically. This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or other tracking tools. As on most websites, the company that hosts our site automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your visit, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Sensitive information. We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or precise location. Please do not include it in messages to us.

2. How we use information

• To respond to questions and quote requests, and to schedule calls by phone, Zoom, or Google Meet.
• To prepare quotes, archetypes, and proposals.
• To provide, manage, and bill for the services you purchase.
• To send messages about your request or our work together.
• To keep our website and accounts secure and to prevent spam and abuse.
• To comply with the law and to enforce our agreements.

We do not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use personal information to train large language models.

3. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

• Formspree, which delivers messages sent through our quote form to our email;
• Google Workspace, which we use for business email;
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website;
• Zoom or Google Meet, if you choose to meet with us by video call.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Site North, our clients, or others, or as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business. In that case, we will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy. We will not otherwise share your personal information without your permission.

4. How long we keep information

If you contact us and do not become a client, we keep your request and our messages for up to 24 months after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep the information for as long as we work together and afterward for as long as we need it for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, generally up to seven years. We then delete it or remove the details that identify you.

5. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the founders, and two-step verification on our business accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to:

• confirm whether we process your personal information, and give you access to it;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• delete your information;
• give you a copy of your information in a portable format; and
• stop contacting you.

To make a request, email chaseoadams@sitenorth.net with the subject “Privacy request.” We will confirm your identity in a reasonable way and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may take up to 45 more days. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying with the subject “Privacy appeal,” and we will respond within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, Connecticut residents may contact the Connecticut Attorney General, and residents of other states may contact their own state’s attorney general. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

If we send you a business email, you can opt out at any time by replying “unsubscribe.” We will honor your request within 10 business days.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not track visitors across websites, and we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Because there is no tracking to turn off, our website works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

8. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Information we handle for our clients

When we build a website or manage social media accounts for a client, we may have access to personal information about that client’s customers or followers. We use it only to provide our services and only as the client instructs. The client’s own privacy policy governs that information.

10. Where we process information

Site North operates in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States. By contacting us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If we make significant changes, we will also note them on our website.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of sitenorth.net and to the quotes, archetypes, and services provided by Site North (“Site North,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you sign a written agreement or accept a written quote from us, that agreement controls wherever it differs from these Terms.

1. About us

Site North is a digital marketing agency that provides web design and social media management. It is run by its founders, Chase Adams and Sawyer Moriarty. Our contact details are at the end of these Terms.

2. Quotes and archetypes

• Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is an estimate based on the information you give us. The final price is agreed in writing before paid work begins.
• An archetype is a working draft of a proposed website that we design and build at no cost to you. Reviewing it and requesting changes to it are also free. You owe nothing unless we both agree on a price in writing.
• Until you buy the website, the archetype, including its design, code, and any content we created, remains the property of Site North. You may not copy, publish, or use it without buying it. Content you supplied remains yours.
• We may decline any project at our discretion.

3. Website projects

• The scope, price, timeline, deposit, and payment schedule for each project are set out in your written quote or agreement.
• Once you have paid in full, you own the final website design and the content we created specifically for it, and we will give you the files and access you need. Third-party items, such as fonts, images, plugins, hosting, and domain names, remain subject to their own licenses and terms, which we will identify.
• You confirm that you have the right to use any text, images, logos, and other materials you give us, and you allow us to use them to build your website.
• Unless we agree otherwise, your hosting, domain name, and email accounts are registered in your name, and you are responsible for their renewal costs.
• We may show the finished website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

4. Social media management

• Social media management starts at $299 per month. The exact monthly price depends on how many accounts and platforms we manage and is agreed in writing before work begins.
• Advertising spend is paid by you directly to each platform. It is not included in our fee, and it is controlled by the platforms, not by us.
• Results vary. We do not guarantee followers, reach, engagement, leads, or sales.
• Your accounts remain yours. We access them through each platform’s business tools where available, and you may remove our access at any time.
• We follow each platform’s rules and advertising policies. Platforms may reject ads, limit reach, or restrict accounts for reasons outside our control.
• We do not buy followers, post fake reviews, or use deceptive practices. Paid or sponsored posts include the disclosures the law requires.

5. Payments

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice. Prices do not include sales tax, which we add where the law requires it. If an invoice is not paid when due, we may pause work until it is paid.

6. Business card offer

A website purchase includes 50 custom business cards, as described in the Business Card Offer.

7. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are handled as described in Cancellations and Refunds, unless your written agreement says otherwise.

8. Using this website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. Do not try to disrupt or damage it, gain unauthorized access to it, or use the quote form to send spam or harmful content. The website’s design, text, graphics, trailer, music, and code belong to Site North or its licensors. You may share links to our website, but you may not copy its design or content without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

Our website and its content are provided for general information on an “as is” basis. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the website other than those stated in a written agreement with you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Site North is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the services that gave rise to the claim during the three months before the claim. For use of this website alone, our total liability is limited to $100. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Site North against claims arising from materials you provide to us or from your violation of these Terms or the law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any legal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days. Any claim that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Changes do not affect written agreements that are already signed.

Cookie Policy

Cookies on this site

This website does not set cookies or use similar technologies, such as tracking pixels or device fingerprinting. It does not use analytics, advertising pixels, third-party embedded maps or videos, chat widgets, social media plugins, or fonts loaded from other companies. Its fonts, introduction trailer, and music are built into the site itself.

When you send the quote form, your request is delivered to us through our form provider, Formspree. Sending it does not place cookies on your device from our website.

Why there is no cookie banner

Cookie banners ask for permission before a website sets non-essential cookies. This website sets none, so there is nothing to ask permission for.

If this changes

If we ever add anything that uses non-essential cookies, we will update this page first, and those cookies will stay off unless you choose to allow them.

Cancellations and Refunds

Effective October 7, 2026

Your written quote or agreement may set different terms for your project. Where it does, it controls.

Free services

Quotes, archetypes, changes to archetypes, and website reviews are free. You can stop at any time, and there is nothing to cancel or refund.

Website projects

Deposits and payment milestones are set out in your written quote or agreement. If you cancel a project after paid work has begun, you pay for the work completed up to the date you cancel, and we refund any amount you prepaid for work we have not started.

Social media management

Monthly plans renew each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for, and we do not give refunds for partial months. Advertising spend is paid to and controlled by each platform, so we cannot refund it, but we will pause or end active campaigns as soon as you ask.

Business Card Offer

Effective October 7, 2026

With the purchase of a website from Site North, you receive 50 custom business cards at no extra cost.

• What is included: 50 business cards designed for your business to match your new website. Each card carries your new website link and a QR code that opens it.
• Who qualifies: any client who buys a new website from Site North under a written agreement while this offer is available. One set of 50 cards per website purchase.
• Size and approval: standard U.S. business card size (3.5 × 2 inches). We send you a proof to approve before anything is printed.
• Timing: we order the cards after your website is live and we have tested the QR code.
• Delivery: shipped at no charge to an address in the United States, or handed to you in person by arrangement.
• Price: the price of your website is the same whether or not you use the cards. The cards cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
• Changes: we may change or end this offer at any time. Changes do not affect websites already purchased.
